  Butterfly Design Seedpot by Robert Kasero
 
 
Robert Kasero is a Laguna potter who learned to make pottery from Paula Estevan. Much like Paula, Robert has demonstrated an outstanding ability to create extremely fine progressive designs on pots with perfect shape and fine, thin walls. This seedpot has an intricately designed butterfly pattern which encompasses the entire surface of the piece. In addition to the thin walls, he also slightly indents the bottoms of his pottery, reminiscent of the historic Laguna vessels. Kasero is rapidly emerging as a top tier potter to watch!
