Fred Peshlakai

Fred Peshlakai was the son of famed Slender Maker of Silver. He apprenticed with his father then continued his evolution into one of the 20th century most recognized Navajo silversmiths.
He opened his own shop in Los Angeles where he worked for nearly twenty years.
His innovative, ground breaking designs enhanced by the use of gem quality turquoise earned him a permanent display of his masterwork in the Wheelwright Museum of the American Indian.
