A Rare Collaboration
John Krena, acquired an unset tray of Zuni stone inlays from renowned Zuni trader C. G. Wallace (1898-1993) several years ago. Krena approached Muscogee Creek metalsmith Jesse Robbins of their existence and he was intrigued. These pieces are his creations utilizing these rare mosaics from the 1930’s-1940’s period. Robbins has captured the spirit of these inlays and combined his own creativity, signed with his hallmark and CGW to designate the Wallace contribution.
