LuAnn Tafoya Wedding Vase
Santa Clara Pueblo, b. 1938
Daughter of Legendary Santa Clara Pueblo potter Margaret Tafoya, LuAnn began making pottery at age 12. Her forte has always been building large vessels that few pueblo potters would be bold enough to attempt, consistently creating pieces of large scale and symmetry of form. She has won numerous major awards, including “Best of Show” at the prestigious Santa Fe Indian Market, and her work is featured in several books and museum collections worldwide.
