Large, stamped, feathered fan-like devices have been applied to the sides of the lower portion of this unique box. Its flat top is completely covered with a layer of finely crushed turquoise, upon which are two inward-facing masked Zuni dancers gesturing toward a central pottery jar flanked by feathered prayer sticks.
