Horace Iule (1901-1978) is credited with creating the first knifewing design in the late 1920s, cut and filed out of wrought silver; he is also known for his crosses. Horace came from a family of silversmiths, grandfather Hatsetsenane “Sneezing Man” and father Paulatssu Iule.
