Vintage Navajo Silver Heavy Weight Triangular Wire Cuff with Natural Turquoise Trade Beads
Circa 1920’s, this vintage Navajo silver heavy weight triangular weight cuff with natural turquoise trade beads is an engaging treasure. An array of three stones are bezel set and soldered onto a silver plate, resting centrally on top of a closely set split shank. The two outer turquoise stones exhibit drill holes, defining them as “trade beads” once worn on a necklace or earrings and repurposed for this charming cuff. Traditional stampwork is layered on the outer edges and within the grooves of the shank adding movement to this classic design. The terminals are quietly capped giving this collectors item a polished appeal. In wonderful condition the turquoise exhibits no cracks and the silver wears a desirable vintage patina.
